Triple A Program

Program Description:

Based on the business counselling platform “Growth Wheel”, this TBC program will assist businesses with at least 1 year of operations, as they complete a 360 degree Assessment, identifying areas of opportunity or barriers to growth. Participants will create a road map of the Action they will take to address one or more of these areas of opportunity. Upon completion and presentation of their road map, participants will earn the opportunity to receive a micro grant of $2000 to assist with Achieving their defined goals.

Eligibility:

  • Businesses must be a registered “for profit” business, operational since before January 31st, 2020;
  • Businesses must operate within the districts of Nipissing and Parry Sound;
  • Businesses may not have received funding directly from TBC within the past year
  • Operating or planning to operate a full time, year round business;
  • Businesses must currently be operational with proven viability;
  • *Note that space is limited and not all applicants may be accepted into the program

Once acceptance into the program is confirmed, the participant will be required to:

  • Review and sign the enrolment agreement
  • Participate in an introductory online workshop with all participants
  • Attend at least 3 virtual one on one meetings with an appointed TBC advisor to develop and review their action plan/road maps 
  • Attend the final virtual group meeting where they will present their action plan to their peers and invited experts and business professionals for feedback and recommendations
  • If approved for the micro grant, submit receipts to TBC supporting the approved costs of implementing their action plan

Micro Grant Funds:

  • Will be disbursed in full upon approval from the committee 
  • May not be used for the following ineligible expenses: 
  1. Debt/Loan repayment 
  2. Insurance
  3. Rent
  4. Wages
  5. Inventory 
  6. Professional Fees – Subject to review by TBC
